Planning In Homecare Services
Home care has become the first choice for home carers and people
of all ages, young and old, who need assistance with their personal
care to enable them to continue leading independent lives. Many
older people who use elderly care services do so as an alternative
to moving into a care or residential home.
Starting to think about meeting your loved one's home care needs
can be daunting, but here at Crossroads Care Coventry &
Warwickshire we provide you with all the answers to your questions
and allay any concerns you may have.
Why Choose Homecare Services?
Homecare, also known as domiciliary care, is a term describing
the support provided in the home by one or more Care Support
Workers to assist someone with their daily life or to give the home
carer some much-needed respite. We enable people who need looking
after to remain in their home which helps maintain personal
independence, comfort and contact with their local community.
Homecare services are totally flexible and can be designed to
provide just the right amount of assistance at any given
time.
Many of our customers may only require a small amount of support -
from half an hour a week, to several hours a day or even live-in
care for short periods of time. The Crossroads home care services
may be on a temporary, intermittent or long-term basis.
What happens when you contact Crossroads Care?
Your enquiry will be dealt with as soon as possible and a Care
Planning Co-ordinator will get back to you to discuss your home
care service requirements. Once it has been established that the
service you require falls within our remit then arrangements will
be made to visit you at a time that is convenient for you and your
carer in your home.
At that visit the service you require will be discussed in detail
and a home care plan written up to include all the points that are
important to the home carer and to the person with care needs. Our
plans are outcome focussed and we want to work with you to help you
achieve the lifestyle you and the person you care for want and
need.
