charities with over 35 years experience and employing over 5,000
trained professionals we provide the highest quality homecare
services that gives each home carer the peace of mind to let
someone else step into their shoes.
Our National Mission Statement
"Crossroads Care promotes, offers and delivers high quality home care services for carers and people with care needs."
Crossroads Care Coventry & Warwickshire
Crossroads Care, Coventry & Warwickshire (CCW), established
in Rugby in 1974, is a registered Charity (1057024) and a Company
limited by guarantee (3206963) and is also registered with the Care
Quality Commission (CQC) and Coventry & Warwickshire Social
Services. Originally formed as three separate regional Crossroads
schemes, the Coventry, Rugby and Warwick offices were amalgamated
in 2005 and we are now the leading provider of homecare services
throughout Coventry and Warwickshire.
Crossroads CCW is committed to providing high quality personalised
caregiving services, meeting both the needs of home carers and the
people they care for. As a charity all of our resources are used to
provide services and to train staff, ensuring that we meet your
needs in the way that you decide. CCW supports carers of adults and
children with disabilities, mental health problems or people who
are elderly and frail. We only employ trained home care support
staff with the skills to help and support both the home carer and
those they care for, enabling people to remain living in their own
homes for as long and as independently as possible.
As a registered charity we can provide some services free of
charge but this is limited according to the funds we are able to
raise. Our home care services can be purchased through direct
payments, personalised budgets, self funding or through services
commissioned by Social Services or the local Primary Care
Trust.

Our Local Mission
Statement
"Crossroads Care, Coventry & Warwickshire's mission is to support home carers by direct help and to customise our services to the individual needs of our service users. We will offer a homecare service which empowers and enriches the quality of life and independence of both the home carer and the person they care for"
Crossroads Care Charitable Objective
"To relieve the stresses experienced by home carers and children and adults who have care needs as a result of a disability, illness or age, by offering a respite care service through the provision of community-based care support workers."
Management of Crossroads
The Crossroads Care charity is managed by a board of volunteer
trustees who give their valuable time and energy to ensure that the
organisation is well managed and continues to meet its statutory
obligations. Many of our trustees are, or have been carers and
users of our home care services and bring with them a wealth of
knowledge on carers' issues and many other skills from their
working lives.
The organisation is managed by a Chief Executive who has been with
the charity for over 17 years. Each office also has an experienced
registered manager whose responsibility is to deliver quality home
care services to our carers, those they care for and to people with
care needs who live alone. They are supported at each office by a
team of local co-ordinators and administration staff to ensure the
smooth and efficient operation of the home care services.
The care support worker (our front-line staff) is what Crossroads
Care is all about - well trained, dedicated and carefully recruited
the support workers are Crossroads biggest asset. Providing
efficient, caring and supportive caregiving services to all users,
whether they have care needs or are home carers themselves. Our
objective is always to provide a professional, friendly service to
aid independence and improve the quality of life to all those who
require care and support in their own homes.
